CubeLens (iOS) and Cubed (visionOS) · Last updated July 19, 2026
Neither app collects any data. Period.
What the apps do with information
- Camera (CubeLens): the camera feed is processed
entirely on your iPhone to read the sticker colors of your cube. No
frames are stored, saved to your photo library, or transmitted
anywhere.
- Local network (both apps): optionally, CubeLens can
send a scanned cube directly to Cubed on an Apple Vision Pro on the same
network, using Apple’s peer-to-peer Multipeer Connectivity. The
data travels device-to-device and never touches a server.
- Purchases (CubeLens): the optional “Learn to
Solve” unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We
never see your payment details.
What we don’t do
- No accounts, sign-ups, or logins.
- No analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting SDKs.
- No advertising, and no third-party SDKs of any kind.
- No servers — the apps have no backend and require no internet
connection.
Children
Because no data is collected from anyone, no data is collected from
children.
Changes
If a future version ever changes any of the above, this page and each
app’s App Store privacy label will be updated first.
